Meet The Team

The faces of Better Birth Advocacy Network

Kaylee Wulff (She/They)

Kaylee Wulff is a wife, a mother to three living children and three babies she never got the chance to meet. She was called to birth work after experiencing a traumatic birth with her first child in 2017 and has been working as a full-spectrum birth worker ever since. Aside from doula work, Kaylee is a birth photographer, a facilitator of a VBAC/CBAC Support Group in Central Alberta alongside Courtney Sheptycki, a CPST, a co-owner of Gracefully Birthed, and a volunteer for the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Centre Hotline. In addition, Kaylee is actively pursuing an education in Psychology and taking an inclusive childbirth education course.

Courtney Sheptycki (She/Her)

Courtney Sheptycki is a wife and mother to three lovely children. She has worked with people for close to 20 years in a variety of capacities. Courtney has a diploma in Addictions counselling and a journeyman red seal in hairstyling. Courtney has a passion for working with mothers and babies. Courtney is actively pursuing birth education, and in the future more counselling education.

Alyssa Washburn (She/Her)

Alyssa Washburn has been in healthcare for over 13 years. She is a Registered nurse, and is currently working as a Nurse Navigator for the Capri Clinic in Lacombe. Alyssa has many aspirations for education in the birth world. Alyssa is actively pursuing education for a birth educator, first aid instructor, hypnobirthing, and many other courses.
